OptraSCAN’s Cytoplasm Algorithm helps distinguish between the staining of two or more sub cellular compartments. Cytoplasmic proteins could be a mixture of various monoclonal antibodies, each of which could have the ability to detect specific high and low molecular weights. By combining these reagents, a single reagent with a broad spectrum of reactivity against both high and low molecular weight proteins could be obtained. In cancerous tissues, sub cellular localization of these proteins may be altered.
